Course Objectives

Living Successfully with a Mood Disorder – Session 1

In session 1, we will discuss:

  • Important information about depression and bipolar disorder
  • Causes, risk factors, and triggers
  • How a person may experience a mood disorder
  • What wellness means

Living Successfully with a Mood Disorder – Session 2

In session 2, we will focus on:

  • Types of treatment
  • Peer support
  • Resources and tools to help along the way

Living Successfully with a Mood Disorder – Session 3

In session 3, participants will be working further on the Living Successfully Plan. Have your plan available and pause the video as needed to complete the exercises.

In session 3, we will revisit your plan and introduce:

  • Creating wellness goals
  • Developing a crisis plan
  • Defining your supporters
