DBSA Associate Board Member
Tess Bettler, MBA, is the Associate Director of Government Affairs at Compass Pathways, where she works on state government affairs initiatives across the Eastern United States to expand access to innovative treatments for patients living with serious mental health conditions. Prior to joining Compass Pathways, Tess worked at a public affairs firm focused on mental health policy and served in Virginia state government, where she advanced policies to improve access to sensitive healthcare services for survivors of assault and other violence. She began her career in politics as a campaign manager for state legislative campaigns in Kentucky and Virginia and later served as a staffer in the Kentucky State Senate.
Tess is deeply committed to the mission of the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance. As someone living with depression, she is passionate about supporting policies, programs, and communities that provide hope and resources for people living with mood disorders. She lives in Alexandria, Virginia with her husband, dog, and two cats.
