Putting wellness within every individual’s reach is at the core of DBSA’s mission, strategies, and programs. One of the ways we do that is through peer councils, market research, and advisory boards.

We have multiple peer council opportunities for peers to share their experience. We’ve added new questions to the screener to match these opportunities so please complete the screener even if you’ve filled out a similar DBSA form in the past. If you are selected to participate, you will be compensated for your time. More information will be provided about compensation during screening.

What will the peer council participants be asked to do?

The peer council will be a 90-minute meeting with other peers and care partners held virtually. We are interested in learning about your experience in order to create new resources for our community.

What are the requirements for the peer council participants?

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Reliable internet access and ability to participate in an online video conference, such as Teams or Zoom

What should I do if I am interested?

Each of the opportunities has specific experiences that will be highlighted. If you’re interested in participating, please click here to take the pre-screener survey. It should take 4 – 5 minutes to complete the pre-screener. We will reach out if one of the opportunities seems to be a good match for you.

Sharing your experiences will help put wellness within reach for many people living with mood disorders by spreading understanding of the impact and management of these life-threatening conditions.
