DBSA announced it is partnering with Breakthrough Discoveries for thriving with Bipolar Disorder BD² to provide peer support to individuals participating in research studies.

DBSA CEO Michael Pollock and Emily Baxi, PhD, BD² Integrated Network for Bipolar Disorder Program Director and Director of Biomedical Research & Health Sciences at the Milken Institute

BD² is a collective force of peers, researchers, clinicians, and experts focused on shortening the time it takes to move from scientific breakthroughs to improved clinical care for bipolar disorder. Beginning next year, DBSA will provide peer support to ensure retention in long-term research studies, track participation, and provide data to determine how peer support contributes to outcomes. We look forward to sharing more about this exciting partnership in the coming months.
