Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance is deeply grateful to the corporate partners, foundations, and individual donors who have contributed $15,000 or more in support of our mission. These leaders play a vital role in sustaining free peer support groups, expanding education and awareness, and strengthening advocacy efforts nationwide.

♣ Corporate Alliance/Industry Advisory Board

The Corporate Alliance offers a unique opportunity for DBSA and its core health care industry partners to engage, imagine, and develop actionable strategies to address our shared desire to amplify the peer voice and improve treatment options to support people living with mood disorders. Members of our Corporate Alliance Program also serve as DBSA’s Industry Advisory Board.

♠ Advocacy in Action

Our Advocacy in Action program is a multi-sponsored program that supports national efforts to promote access to quality mental health care, broaden the adoption of peer support services, and advance the peer specialist profession. This program also encourages the inclusion of lived experience through executive, regulatory, and legislative directives.

♦ Transforming the Definition of Wellness/FDA Engagement Initiative

Transforming the Definition of Wellness Campaign (commonly known as the FDA Engagement Initiative) is a multi-year effort to gather actionable insights from people with lived experience and to provide them with the opportunity to share their perspectives with industry, payers, and the FDA in anticipation of developing a new clinical outcome assessment tool.

♥ Gerald L. Klerman and Scientific Advisory Board Reception

The Gerald L. Klerman Award is the highest honor that DBSA gives to members of the scientific community. Presented each year, this award recognizes researchers whose work advances knowledge of the causes, diagnosis, and treatment of depression and bipolar disorder.
