This Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, we’re inviting you to help create belonging in your own community through the #CreateBelonging Challenge. Because belonging isn’t built through one big gesture. It’s built one text, one conversation, and one check-in at a time.
What is the #CreateBelongingDBSA Challenge?
The #CreateBelongingDBSA Challenge is a simple way to turn small acts of connection into meaningful moments of belonging.
Using our challenge punch card, you’ll complete actions designed to help the people around you feel seen, valued, and connected.
Whether it’s reaching out to a friend, checking in on a loved one, or making space for someone who may be struggling, each action helps create a stronger sense of community and connection.
How It Works
Step 1: Download Your Punch Card
Download, screenshot, or print the #CreateBelongingDBSA Challenge card.
Step 2: Complete the Activities
Throughout the month, complete the activities listed on the card. Each square represents a small act of connection that can help someone feel like they belong.
Step 3: Track Your Progress
Digitally: Save a screenshot of the card and mark off completed activities using your phone’s photo editor or your favorite social media app.
Printed: Hang your card on your fridge, desk, or bulletin board and cross off boxes throughout the month.
Step 4: Share Your Impact
Participating with friends, family, coworkers, or your DBSA chapter is encouraged!
Share your progress on social media using #CreateBelongingDBSA and tag @dbsalliance so we can celebrate your participation and inspire others to join.
