That experience has fueled her lifelong passion for advocacy, reducing suffering, and helping people live fully and resiliently.
Dr. Bailey currently serves on the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance (DBSA) Board of Directors and is herself a person with lived experience. She recently relocated from Chicago to Boone, North Carolina, where she lives on the side of a mountain with her partner and their two cats, Buddy and Oliver, as part of a meditation-centered community.
