Welcome to the DBSA Independent Learning Platform. Many of the Independent Learning Modules can be accessed at the links below. Upon viewing the course you will be provided with a quiz. Hard copies of the visuals and the script are included in the Appendix in your Student Manual

Module Instructions:

Click view module to begin. Enter your name, email address, and state and click Continue to begin the module.

Make sure your volume is turned on if you would like to listen to the narration of the script. Content slides will progress automatically at the end of each slide. There is a pause button on the bottom left corner of the screen. If you choose to use the pause button, it automatically becomes the play button. Click play to resume audio and video. Use the left arrow on the bottom right corner of the screen to navigate to the previous slide. Use the right arrow on the bottom right corner of your screen to start the next slide. You must click the check button on the bottom right corner of your screen to submit your quiz response and advance to the next slide. Do not press the enter key during your essay as this will submit your response. If you do accidentally press enter before you are done responding, you can use the left arrow to return to the slide and continue typing your response.

There is no limit on how often you can view the video or take the quiz. You must complete them, however, to successfully pass the course. A copy of both the visual content as well as the audible content is available as printed material in your binder.
