Beth Forde is charged with supporting and building out DBSA’s training and apprenticeship programs. Beth has over 20 years of Workforce Development experience developing strategies to ensure that workers who have been typically overlooked and underrepresented are included in today’s workforce—including people with mental, cognitive, and physical differences.

Beth is excited to bring her lived experience to the role and proud to be a part of DBSA’s mission to ensure that peers have a seat at the table to share their voices. Beth is looking forward to educating employers, workforce development agencies, and other stakeholders about the Peer Support Specialist role, and finding ways to expand the profession to serve as a way to battle mental health disparities in local and national communities.
