Real Recovery Podcasts Bring Hope to Thousands
Over 36,000 Real Recovery podcasts have been downloaded since their launch in October of 2006. The biweekly podcasts cover a range of topics—from transcranial magnetic stimulation to how to start a support group—and offer inspiration and information from some of mental health’s leading experts.
DBSA’s Real Recovery podcasts serve as a supplement to traditional DBSA publications. Located in the Recovery Education Center, the podcasts can be heard directly on the website or downloaded to an MP3 player.
The newest podcast, released last Wednesday, features top researcher Dr. Ellen Frank. Dr. Frank speaks with Director of Training, Matt Mattson, about DBSA’s Certified Peer Specialist Program, her recent research, as well as what recovery means to her. To listen to the podcast, click here.
