Reservation Cut-Off Date: 
Book your hotel room by August 11, 2008 for DBSA's discount. After the August 11 cut-off date, reservations will be accepted, based on availability, at the regular room rate. Room cancellations must be made no later than 24 hours before your scheduled date of arrival.

All conference sessions will be held at the hotel.

Overflow Hotel
Room availability at the Sheraton Norfolk Waterside Hotel is limited. If you are not able to secure a room at the Sheraton, contact the Tazewell Hotel & Suites and request the DBSA conference rate of $99 for single or double occupancy, $106 for triple and $113 for quad, plus taxes.* The Tazewell is located within walking distance of the Sheraton Norfolk Waterside and in the heart of Downtown Norfolk's Theater, Entertainment and Historic Business Districts.

We encourage you to continue to check back with the Sheraton Waterside, as rooms may become available due to cancellations, but reservations at the Tazewell must be canceled 7 days prior to arrival to avoid cancelation penalties.

Shuttle Service from Norfolk International Airport
Cary VIP Airport Connection is the official airport shuttle and car company. Carey VIP Airport Shuttle is located in a booth outside baggage claim door three at the Norfolk International Airport.

Discount shuttle service is available for the main arrival and departure dates of the conference, which are Friday, Sept. 12, and Sunday, Sept. 14. The discounted fee is $12 per person, each way. Shuttle service on all other days is available for $24 per person, each way. No reservations are required. A DBSA discount for round trip service is available for $46. Ask for the DBSA rate at the Carey VIP Airport Shuttle booth located outside baggage claim door number three.

Taxi Service from Norfolk International Airport
Taxi service is available outside the baggage claim lobby. The fare to the Sheraton Norfolk Waterside Hotel is approximately $25 each way, plus gratuities.

Downtown Norfolk Free Shuttle
The Norfolk Electric Transit or NET is the premiere transportation link for residents, visitors, shoppers, commuters and downtown Norfolk. This free commuting service is provided by the City of Norfolk and operated by the Hampton Roads Transit (HRT). The NET Weekday route makes a total of fifteen stops along a 2.2-mile route throughout the downtown area. The NET Weekend route makes a total of nine stops throughout the downtown area. NET stops are conveniently located and prominently displayed throughout downtown Norfolk.
