8:30am - 12:00pm       Working Together - Reaching New Levels of Leadership Success

Have you ever had a negative day?  How did you feel at the end of it?  Tired, drained... How  effective were you in relating to co-workers and family/friends by the end of the day? Now, have you ever had a positive day?  How did you feel at the end of it?  Energized. How would that affect your relationship and leadership abilities? What if you could create every day to be a great day for yourself? Well‑known author and top‑rated speaker Dr. Jerry V. Teplitz will show you how to make every day that way through actual tools and techniques that will increase your energy levels resulting in more productivity and creativity.  These immediate, effective and easy methods can be applied to all aspects of your professional life.

This seminar is designed to increase productivity and promote team‑building by helping you learn more about your own and other members of your chapter’s work styles, group needs, and how both fit into the organization's overall goals.  You will discover practical strategies that foster cooperation and leadership.  And you’ll learn how people with different work styles can resolve incompatibilities and interact more effectively as members of a team.

What is a "Cafe Style Session" ?

DBSA will provide three rooms per session. Each room will have one topical question per session time (see list above) and will also have a facilitator to help with the flow of discussion. During each session, notes will be taken on the discussion and these notes will be compiled and shared with all participants after the conference. These sessions are designed to allow for candid conversation between chapter leaders about their experiences and ideas they may have. We encourage you to select topics that hold a particular interest for your community's chapter. You may switch session rooms at any time.
