Setting Goals

Before you begin, it’s important that you set goals related to your creative pursuits. They will help you to direct your focus and track your progress.

It’s great to dream big, but make sure your goals are achievable. If a goal is particularly ambitious, you’ll want to break it down into several smaller goals that contribute to your larger goal...which is nice, as it allows you to celebrate your successes along the way!

Your chances of achieving your goals improve when you have a clear vision of what success looks like. Know what you’re aiming for. “Targeted” goals:

  1. Are specific (What will you do?)

  2. Have a deadline (When will you do it?)

  3. Are measurable (How will you know you have
    done it?)
