Thriving DBSA

2014 was an exciting year for DBSA. Public response to our programs and offerings was no less than remarkable. In addition to the excellence of our chapters and peer support groups, we now have twelve groups of more than 500 participants in our Parents Network, acquired last year from the Balanced Mind Foundation. This year we also saw a 92% increase in unique visitors to our websites; a 62% increase in eNews subscribers, and social media interactions that grew from 18,019 to 440,982. We are an acknowledged leader in Peer Specialist Training and a prominent voice in field of mental health advocacy. We look to the future with great optimism and in the belief that people with mood disorders can live full, thriving lives.

I’ve gotten more from your posts and links on Facebook than I have from many of the in- and outpatient therapies I’ve received. Keep up the awesome work.
